about us

In 2008, the American Cancer Society Junior Board of Middle Tennessee was formed in order to assist the ACS in its efforts to raise money and better connect to the young professionals of middle Tennessee in order to achieve its mission of saving lives and diminishing cancer suffering through cancer research, cancer patient services, wellness and prevention education, and health advocacy.

As a result, the ACS Junior Board has become a fully functional program of the American Cancer Society, the largest non-profit voluntary health organization in the nation. It is made up from a wide diversity of young professionals and leaders who want to see a significant impact in their communities in the fight against cancer.
